it has the oldest state constitution that is still in use.

4. If you have a sweet tooth you'll be happy to know that this state is home

to the first chocolate chip cookie and chocolate factory in the United States.

5. This state is also home to the United State's first lighthouse,

post office, subway station, public beach and public park.

6. Despite being the SIXTH smallest state it is home to professional

teams in all Big 4 leagues as well as a professional soccer team.

7. This state is also the birthplace of volleyball and

basketball as well as home to the basketball Hall of Fame

8. At 90 ft (27.4 m) under the surface, the deepest under -water tunnel in North America is located in this state.

9. This state's name means "Near the Great Blue Hill" by the local Native American tribe.

10. Surprisingly this state's capital is the only one in the United States to have an ocean coastline.
