1. Do you know where the oldest human mummy found in North America?

It is estimated to be more than 9,400 years old and was found in this state.

2. The state became the first state to ratify the 15th amendment,

which gave the right for African American men to vote (1869).

3. This state is home to almost two third (or more than 40,000)

of the wild horse population in the United States.

4. This state is also home to over 300 natural hot springs which is more than any other states.

5. Although known it's nickname is the Silver State it is home of the most gold

being produced (78% of the United States' gold or 173.6 tons worth over $6.3 billion).

6. Did you know that this state is home to the most popular wedding destination

in the United States as well as the world's highest 169,000 hotel rooms.

7. Although this is the 7th largest state, it is the state with the most land

(56 million acres) which is 80% of the state, owned by the federal government

8. This is home to the world's hottest dessert and the United States' smallest desert with it's size being (22,000 sq. miles or 57,000 sq. km) and temperature reached up to (57ºC or 134ºF)

9. Unsurprisingly this state is the driest, it only rains 9.46 inches (or 24 cm) on average annually.

10. Surprisingly enough the state's name comes from the Old Spanish word meaning "snow covering" referring to the mountains that were discovered by the Spanish explorers.

The correct answer was: NEVADA!
